
How the TD Accessibility Adapter works
Description
Let's be honest, modern life can be "noisy."
For some people with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), an overload of sights, sounds, and activity can make focusing more challenging. ADHD affects an estimated 1.8 million Canadians, according to the Centre for ADHD Awareness, Canada.
Many individuals with ADHD experience the world in dynamic and fast-paced ways, processing multiple stimuli at once. For some, managing sensory input—both internal and external—can support focus and create a more comfortable environment.
In 2023, TD colleagues designed and developed the TD Accessibility Adapter, through the TD Invent approach, to support colleagues in customizing their online visual accessibility preferences.
The TD Accessibility Adapter was designed and developed by TD colleagues to help address their individual online visual accessibility preferences.
Last year, the tool was launched to the public at no cost through the Google Chrome store. Click below to try it out yourself:
